Located only 115 km away from La Paz, in the rural town of San Pablo de Tiquina (Manco Kapac Province), we have “The Bolivian Aquaculture Research and Development Center.” With a five million dollar donation from the Japanese Government, a state-of-the-art facility was built in 1987. Its main goal is to provide R&D, training and technical assistance programs to the fishery sector.
